There is more to the Shoalhaven than our beautiful, and world famous beaches. We have a rich, but little known, mining history and most of our mining areas are within an easy walk of conventional roads. Here we have the history of these mines along with sketch maps on how to get to them. So, if you are a bushwalker, 4wd enthusiast, fossicker, or just interested in family, local or mining history and visiting our area this is the place to start.
