The Argus, 26th February 1870 :
“The schooners Mary Cosgrove and Agnes and Henry have been totally wrecked whilst loading from the wreck of the ship Camden, which was recently lost on the coast.”
The Brisbane Courier, 19th March 1870 :
“WRECKS ON THE COAST. - The coasting vessels, Mary Cosgrove, fore-and-aft schooner, and the Agnes and Henry, ketch, were both wrecked at Murramarang, on Tuesday night last; they were driven ashore soon after the southerly gale sprung up. They are both total wrecks, but all hands were saved. The Flying Cloud slipped her anchor and escaped the disaster, and reached Ulladulla in safety. The Sylvanus made the same port prior to the southerly gale. These vessels were engaged to take up the cargo of the Camden, wrecked a few days since. The heat of Tuesday, prior to the southerly burster, was intense. They are both insured. The former vessel was the property of Mr. Sheridan, and is insured in the Australian for L500; the Agnes and Henry was owned by Mr. Chadwick, and is insured in the National for L300. - Clarence and Richmond Examiner, March 8.”
