The Argus, 21st June 1864 :

 

“The schooner Ewald, of Melbourne, from Circular Head to Sydney, was wrecked at Ulladulla. Crew saved.”

 

“The schooner Ewald, from Circular Head to Sydney, was wrecked on the 12th inst., sixteen miles south of Ulladulla. All hands were saved.”

 

The Argus, 23rd June 1864 :

 

“SYDNEY, June 22.

“he master and crew of the schooner Ewald, wrecked at Ulladulah, have arrived here safely.”

 

The Argus, 24th June 1864 :

 

“SYDNEY, TUESDAY.

“The captain and crew of the wrecked Ewald have arrived here. The vessel had gone to pieces.”
