“The schooner Adolphus has been wrecked near Wollongong; crew saved.”

 

The Argus, 22nd December 1866 :

 

“The wreck of the schooner Adolphus lies near the sunken rock, at the entrance to Wollongong. Shipmasters trading to the port are therefore cautioned against standing to the westward of the outer large mooring bouy.”
